We are all comprised of four aspects of self that are interconnected and in-turn, affect one another. In order to experience well-being, we need to be balanced and well in each of these four areas.
Mental System – this is your thought-life, including your thought patterns, self-perceptions and how you see yourself. This also entails your core beliefs and your view of the world.
Emotional System – this is your feelings and emotions, and the relationship you tend to have with yourself and with others. This is about your ability to give love and receive love, as well as how you process and release emotions.
Physical System – this is your physical health as well as the physical things you create tangibly in your life.
Spiritual System – this is your true self and your connection to energy, higher self, God or a higher power, and to the community and world.
